If I parallel two 3000w inverters. Does this mean I'll still only get 4800w total running watts?

Asked by: hawk
That is correct, the running total running watts will be 4800 with 2 3000 watt generators, because the generators are designed to shut down when it reaches its own max (4800 for the 3000 watts). It's similar to 2 people carrying a heavy box. If the weaker person drops their side, when the box hits the ground it is knocked out of the other persons hand and the entire box will fall to the ground, even though the stronger person was originally holding one half of it. for further information, please call us at (800)743-4115.

What is the total running wattage if I parallel two p2200 inverter generators? And what would the total starting wattage be?
Asked by: inspector
For two p2200's your total running wattage would be 3000 watts, the reason that it only produces that many watts, is that it reduces the load on one individual inverter, for less wear and tear over time.
