Brinkmann has a Horrible Product, Even Worse Customer Support
I gave it "1 Star" only because I couldn't rate it lower. I purchased this grill on May 2014 along with a cover. It worked OK, nothing special, but about what you would expect from a $199 grill. In early September I used the grill one afternoon and forgot to cover it after using. It rained that night. As I got ready to use the grill the next day I noticed the grease pan was full of water. After looking at the grill closely I noticed that lip of the lower housing was sticking out a little more than the upper housing. That small lip from the lower housing captured the rain and directing it into the lower housing / grease pan. I contacted Brinkmann via email and received no response. I followed up with 3 more emails and eventually had to call. I sent a good description, and after some discussion, I followed up with photos and even an illustrated PowerPoint showing the issue, yet Brinkmann CS still could not "see" the problem. I honestly don't see how they could not see it. Their response was to tell me to buy a cover. I was not a happy camper. After a number of more calls and dealing with multiple people, they eventually told me just to take it back to Home Depot because they weren't going to help me. Concerning this Brinkman grill and Brinkmann in general, don't waste your time. You will only be disappointed and spend more money in the long run. All said and done, Home Depot is the hero here. They helped me out even though the 90day return policy had passed and it really wasn't their problem. Covington, GA Hardware Department Manager Paul Ford was instrumental in helping me make the transaction. Paul’s willingness to listen, help and advise me ultimately lead me to purchase a more expensive / better grill and ultimately be a more loyal HD customer. I ended up buying a Char-Broil Model # 463251714. So far so good.

Damaged Goods Burner
While assembling unit, discovered front left leg bent. Could not fit plastic foot into the leg. At least (6) locations (inside the grille cover) was bent, damaged, or severely chipped of paint enamel. Had to spay high heat Rustolium to correct. Had to be poor inspection before released for manufacturer. The inside damage could not have been from shipping. Very disappointed with product.

Excellent Grill
I bought this grill as a gift for my best friend. He has really enjoyed it and I found that the quality of the grates are that of the more expensive grills. Seems like a great value.

Super Simple To Assemble. 75% assembled right out of the box.
Needed to replace my existing grill. Owned the 4 burner version of this grill for 8 years. Waited for this version to go on sale. Unpacked and assembled in 20 minutes. All you need is 1 screwdriver and 1 cold beer. Going to break it in this weekend. Excellent grill for the price of $199.00.

This product is highly recommended.
I purchased the 5-Burner Grill a month or so ago. I have to say that I've been extremely pleased with my purchase. The grill cooks evenly and the temperature is easy to control. There is ample cooking area to prepare a meal for a large family or entertaining friends. I ordered on-line and picked up the product at the Home Depot pre-assembled, which was the best option. The far right burner sometimes is difficult to ignite, but usually does after two or three times using the integrated ignition. I have prepared many meals using the Brinkman Grill and have been very happy with the results each time. I would highly recommend anyone reading this review to purchase one today!

Love our New Gas Grill
The grill over all is very nice! Only problem we had putting it together was the one plastic foot didn't want to go on, it ended up cracking! The store thankfully replaced it off a model one & that one went on better. Also attaching the wire piece to the side burner, the part that sends the spark, as soon as I pushed the wire up the plastic part cracked on it a bit. But thankfully it stayed on and the side burner still works. We have grilled country style ribs, chicken, fish and even vegetables and it works great. It's does take 2 or 3 clicks to get burners on but then they stay on and we have grilled in some windy weather and non windy weather! So over all it was a great decision to buy.

Spend the extra money to buy a Webber. I just let this grill splatter all over the HD parking lot where I bought it last year.
    Pure Junk
There is nothing exceptional about this Chinese made grill other than its looks. After owning it 6 months the igniter went out. After 18 months the burners were gone as well. It's on the way to the dump today...don't feel that it is worth fixing. At first, the grill worked well but that didn't last long before problems developed. I have owned many grills over the years and this one tops the list on bottom of the barrel buys. If you use your grill often (as I do), you probably might think of another brand.

Had an old beat up 'garage sale' grill work better than this one.
This is the third time in the middle of cooking all 5 burner stop. Almost like it ran out of propane. Cannot get a constant flame. Six months old.

      Returning after two weeks
Great price for a grill but you get what you pay for. One of the burner knobs has melted from the inside out and no longer stays on. Pretty sure if that can happen to the knob other parts will eventually melt too. The burner starters are weird and there isn't a temperature gauge.
