Does lights have timer? connectable?

AnswersTimer is set for 6 hours on 18 off. Can not connect 2 sets. Garbage product from a shady company.

I like these! They look nice, and I like how you set it once and it stays on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours, and stays on that cycle indefinitely (until the batteries run out). There is not a "timer" so-to-speak - you're not setting a time for them to start; you just have to push the ON button when you want the cycle to start. In one respect that is kind of annoying because you have to actually be home to set them the first time, but that's a minor complaint.
In reference to another reviewer... THE TRICK TO OPENING THE BATTERY CONTAINER IS UNSCREWING IT AT ALL 4 CORNERS. The instructions don't tell you to do this, so failure on the manufacturer's part (made in China), but once I saw the screws I figured it out.
One other minor complaint is the string of lights really isn't very long - I wished the lights were spaced further apart. It would take 3-4 of these sets to go across the front of my house, and my house is only 900 sq. ft. But since I don't have any electrical outlets on the front of my house, these battery-operated lights are really the only option for me.

Product was listed as having a pack of 2. Only received one and neither the company or Home Depot would help in getting the second one. Batteries only lasted 1 month so expect to change often.

Disappointing & Over Priced

States set of 2 for $31. I only recieved 1 twelve foot strand, not two as advertised. I will be calling. This definitely is not worth $30 for one. It took a month to recieve after placing my order. Takes 3 C batteries. I plan to use this outdoors. Hopefully it lasts more than one season for the price. These are nice large bulbs. I think it will look great on my lamppost where I plan to wrap it with greenery.

I'm not sure how we quantify this as a set of two but it most certainly was one short string of lights. Is it pretty - yes. Is it short - yes. Two, as advertised would have been nice especially when I bought 2 sets of 2.
