The duct is 3" diameter. It is oriented as shown in the picture.
It’s 8.25x8.25 inch. It’s the bottom of line. Builder grade fan.
I am not sure of this model number you are showing. They are all about the same but the selling point on this was the size. Measure the hole in the ceiling and see if this is an exact fit as it is a real messy job if you have to enlarge the hole even a little bit.
Yes, that is what I did. No issues since installed in January. The fan has been running great!
Go to the Broan website where you will find a great dealof information and specs on every fan made. If you need additional help, their customer support staff are knowledgeable and very helpful.
Yes, but may be model-dependent. Check with Broan for exact specs. I just replaced the fan assembly in my bathroom fan with a more powerful version. Took about 5 minutes, most of that time involved in cleaning the original housing. Good as new.
Yes. Easy to install and works well. It is a good bit louder than I would have liked.
Yes, this fan is a proper replacement.
Yes, with very little modifications to the installation area.
We cannot confirm if this will meet code requirements. That will depend on the codes in your area. You'll need to contact a code/building inspector in your city, county, or municipal area to determine if this fan will be compliant.
