What is the color temperature of the LED lights? How easy or difficult are they to replace? Can ...

AnswersModel BCDF130SS uses a 2-level LED module that has a 3000K color temperature rating. We do not offer a warmer LED module in color. Replacing the LED in this model can be quite difficult simply because of the location of the modules. AnswersModel BCDF130SS will discharge in one of three ways. Vertically in 3¼” x 10” exhaust pipe, or 7” round pipe, or horizontally in 3¼” x 10” exhaust pipe only. It is packaged with a 3¼” x 10” damper/duct connector. If installed using a 7" round pipe the damper/duct connector service part number S97018803 is sold separately.
Does it feel "closed in" to a tall person? The depth is more than the standard depth.

AnswerIf the Range Hood is vented to the outdoors Grease Filter part number S99010434-003 is the replacement filter. This is a washable filter. If the Range Hood is not vented to the outdoors the additional Charcoal Filter needed is part number S97020467. This filter clips on top the Grease Filter and is disposable. New clips to hold the Charcoal Filter to the Grease Filter will be included with the S97020467.
How long are these LED's suppose to last, and are they replaceable if they do happen to burn out ?

A very nice item. Installation was easy. Nice led lights (soft day light - yellow) have 2 levels. The fan is powerful even on speed 1 (out of 3). We also bought the char coal filters - do absorb odors. So far so good - dry satisfied!

Good hood for the price
I am very happy with the performance of this hood so far. The three settings all work great. Lowest is very quiet, medium is still fairly quiet, still easy to have a conversation while standing near and high is a bit loud but I have only had to use that high of a fan when cooking very smokey foods. It does the job though and get rid of the smoke and prevents food odors from lingering. I did a horizontal vent install by cutting through the wall right behind. It was fairly easy and searching for some DIY videos on youtube helps. The ez rail system didnt really make much of a difference for me because the hardest part is getting the damper they include to fit in the duct when holding the hood but its light enough where it wasnt too bad to do myself. This is really the only part I do wish i had an extra set of hands to help with. When my first hood was delivered it was damaged like some other reviews i have seen but that was an easy enough fix to just return and get another. Dont let shipping complaints prevent you from buying this hood. For the money its great.

Love it, was very easy to install as a ductless. Took less than an hour. We replaced our old one after 36 years. It matches all my new appliances perfectly in the black stainless steel. The fan and lights are the best I have seen. Have had it about 3 weeks. Shipping and delivery was a day early which was exciting.
I would like to see a matcing backsplash come with the unit, even if needed to purchase separately. Thank you for a wonderful product.

Excellent exhaust hood for over your stove. I had to replace my old one with a 42 inch wide hood, which is wider than my stove (30 in) and that's better to capture as much heat/smoke/grease that's coming off your stove or oven. Very good build quality and pretty easy to install. I would recommend to use the maximum diameter ventilation ducting as that minimizes noise and maximizes performance. Use the 7 in round duct instead of the rectangular duct fitting. And if you use thick aluminum foil duct tape and seal it really well against the top of the hood, you'll get better air movement. And the integral LED lights are very nice quality.

We recommend 2 persons to put it up. Also recommend to pull your stove out for a better stance in holding up while the other one puts it up. We should of done that. Lol
