Powerful and quiet
I installed this unit in 2 of our bathrooms which we just renovated. The steaming problem which we had (especially in the small bathroom) and mirror fogging has all but disappeared since we installed it and the unit is powerful enough that the air suction is quite noticeable from below the closed door while it is working. Definitely recommend it.

Quiet and very powerful
As compared to my old fan, this makes no noise at all while it is so powerful that the air being drawn by it is very noticeable coming from below the door.
After a heavy hot shower with the fan on, there's practically no stean in the bathroom and mirrors stay very clear.

fans work well; seems fair price for the nice quality
I bought two of these fans, one for a bathroom with mold starting. We had the walls cleaned and painted and fan installed. In that bathroom it's very quiet--a big difference from the previous ineffective fan. In the smaller guest bathroom, where we had the second fan installed, it's louder, although not a problem. It's about the same loudness as the ineffective fan it replaced, but takes out shower moisture so much better. The sound might have something to do with the length of the duct work in the attic in that bathroom versus the quieter bathroom. Overall, we're happy with this purchase.

Works great in a small bathroom in a high humidity area. 6” insulated duct was probably overkill but it works great.

Tried multiple times, good for few months,
Buy this if you plan to use it for 3-6 months. We bought this fan for our master bathroom due to the high cfm. At first, everything was okay, but after around 4 months, it developed a grinding noise, too bad we lost our receipt, but due to the big opening, we bought another one, and throw the first one away. And now, the second one created the same noise, and lucky we have receipt, but TOO BAD AGAIN, called multiple times, told by the rep that i have to email, then I sent an email, no reply for 2 wks, send few more emails, same thing...... This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The hole open is too big for other fans to fit. So THINK TWICE X 1000 before getting this fan or choosing this brand, as I am sure you will never able to get any help. Btw, if you are willing to pay for the parts ($90+shipping), they can ship you the part within a week or so.

It sounds like there may be some sort of restriction in your installation. The most common restrictions include, but are not limited to: duct size reduced to less than 6"; flexible duct used instead of straight, rigid metal duct; excessively long duct runs; excessive elbows used in the installation; a damper (at the fan or at the exit point) not opening freely (stuck in closed position); fan could be too powerful for the application with not enough makeup air; etc.
