The seat is fairly easy to install--my toilet room is only about 36" wide, which made it hard to install the 'Tee' under the tank in the tight space. Other than that, the rest was very easy. Water temperature response could be quicker and it seems to drop during use--it would be better if there was a way to 'lock' the temperature setting. It would also be nice to have a simpler (the operation instructions in the 80 page manual are 6 pages long), laminated instruction card. I created a 2-page version, which is added as an image.

Easy to install. Unfortunately you may to get a different type of valve and t valve connector since they do not fit usa plumbing. I do recommend this and it is worth it. Save more money in the meantime

Delightful Feeling of Joy
I've purchased several bidets over the years for myself and family. I had the 1000 before this and even though I loved it, it was just a bit too strong. I am so happy with this one, there is soft and gentle wash. Thank you..

WARNING: This bidet comes with a 7/8" Tee adapter to supply water the the bidet. Every toilet in America has a 3/8" connection to the toilet supply line. I called Home Depot and the associate said there are no adapters for the 7/8" to 3/8". He said the only way to make the connection is to replace the supply valve coming out of the wall. I have no idea where to purchase a 7/8" supply valve. I looked up toilet supply valves on the Home Depot website to discover they offer only 3/8" valves. Apparently the bidet I received via special order through Home Depot had been received by someone and they returned it to the store because there was evidence that the packaging had been opened. Stay away from this product. You won't be able to install it.

Hello Art,

This is a common misconception. The 7/8" T adapter does not attach to your supply line/shutoff valve at the wall, it actually attaches to the fill valve that hangs from the tank of your toilet. The industry standard for this is valve is 7/8". We have some really handy resources such as your instruction manual or our installation video that give thorough directions for proper installation. If you have any additional issues feel free to contact us at 888-542-3355 or support@brondell.com. Brondell

Went to Japan awhile back and fell in love with bidets. This was a birthday gift for the husband. Even though he had to install it himself, he said it was still the best gift I have given yet. I have a baby due date of tomorrow and I will say that this has also been a great gift for myself. Easy to install, even though I got the elongated and apparently our toilet is round. We are going to keep it how it is. Husband loves the remote, and we have had no issues since we installed a month ago. Front feature does not hit as far forward as expected, but that is not really why we got it anyway. Heated seat is a super plus for me, and it isn't even winter yet.

good buy
Overall I am pleased with the Quality, ease of instillation and functionality of the seat but the seat is a bit short for my toilet. When I ordered I thought I was ordering a different seat one with more functions. I should have been more careful when placing my order. Please understand why I am not sending a picture of the product in use.

Installation a bit problematic
I bought this to replace an existing bidet made by Rasonic for my Toto toilet.. Although I bought the elongated version of the bidet, it did not match the shape of my elongated Toto toilet. But since it functions OK, I decided to keep it. You can see in the photos how much the seat overhangs, but the support pads are landing on the toilet OK and the bidet sits well and stable. Just a bit awkward visually. I ran into several problems installing the bidet. First, the Toto toilet only has a limited opening behind the toilet bowl and I had to lay down on the floor next to the toilet hugging the toilet bowl to reach my hand inside the back of the toilet to get to the screws for mounting. My old Rasonic can be mounted completely from the top. Also the hose connection to the tank is only accessible through this hole as well. I'll probably have to remove the tank from the toilet bowl to get to it. So I chose to use the existing T from the old bidet which was connected to the tank via a 3/8" hose.. Besides, the T that came with this bidet are 7/8" thread to the tank and faucet. My faucet is 3/8" also. Using the new T would be a lot more work plus another trip to HD. After I got the whole thing put together and turned on the water, the connection from the hose to the T was leaking profusely, Turned out that the ID of my old T was too small to allow the center protrusion of the hose connector to fit through. See photo. So, I had to sand down that protrusion to allow the gasket to seat properly. There is a protruding lip on the inner bottom edge at the front of the seat. Guess it is a splash barrier. Took a few iterations to position the seat perfectly with the lip not hitting the toilet and still placing the seat as forward as possible. Of course, each iteration requires me to lie down hugging the toilet bowl on both sides. Now thinking about it, I should have attached the bidet with the nuts loose, position the seat and then tighten the nuts. The rear spray action worked as well as my old Rasonic. There is just no feedback on the remote as to what water pressure was selected. The front nozzle was hurting me you know where until I can turn down the pressure. Guess I shouldn't be using the front spray anyways. The magnetic holder for the remote was a nice tough. The IR signal reached the bidet with no problems although I mounted it on the opposite side of the sensor. The spray nozzles are plastic in this model similar to my old Rasonic. But it has a flush feature to wash the nozzles after each use. I had to pull the nozzles out in the Rasonic out manually to clean them once a while. There is also a button on the side of the bidet to kick off the flush action which runs for 2 minutes if not manually stopped. In the photo of the hose in the HD site, it shows a sharply bent shape. It is just a regular plastic hose with no preformed shape. It sticks straight out the side of the toilet. Would be more sleek if there is a 90 degree bend in the hose. Overall I am happy with the unit. Just the shape mismatch is a bit of eyesore. But it is actually more comfortable to sit on.

Convenient: I love it!
For years I've wanted a bidet, now that I have this "All-in_one" unit, I wouldn't want to live without it. I can't image wanting to get off the toilet to move to a separate bidet for cleansing. This product is extremely convenient and I love how fresh the clean it keeps you all day. (Amazing) My teenage sons use too and I'm so glad. I did purchase a Decorative Bidet Hose in Chrome to replace the standard plastic tubing. See picture. Enjoy!

The best an the market at ANY price!
Amazing value considering the full featured functionality! Three temp settings for both the seat and water supply. Magnetic-mounted remote control is a very handy feature. Really did my homework before making my purchase and glad I did. Searched endlessly for product and price. Was very pleased to find that HD not only stocked the product but had the best pricing ANYWHERE! You better feel comfortable with common hand tools as you will be doing a little plumbing and electrical during installation. PS I'm a guy. Yes I DO like my bidet!

How did I ever live without this device
I was very cautious about this purchase as it was the first time I ever purchased something like this. I was not disappointed as it performs as advertised. Installation was a breeze and the functionality is great. Highly recommended for anyone that would enjoy a new experience in hygiene.
