AnswerYou should not Have to turn around backwards though you could.. The seat has an adjustable wand you can adjust forward and backward a substantial distance hope that helps

Liked it so much we bought a second one
We have a much more expensive bidet at home and when we bought a vacation home and saw the swash on sale for a great price we decided to get one for there. We are very pleased with the product and it rivals the features of our bidet at home for a fraction of the price. We liked it so much that we bought a second one for our second bathroom. Installation was easy, i was able to install it without any assistance from my husband which is saying something as i am not handy. Youll wonder how you went so long without a bidet seat!!

It does work, but...
I’ve been using this product for about two weeks. Second week in and it did glitch at times. I deactivated the light, and have found it on couple of times. It didn’t want to turn on after pressing the remote. Also, pressed the buttons on the side and nothing. Had to get off the seat and sit back down for it to work. Other than these two things, so far so good.

Good features, good price when on sale. Would have rated higher if the seat could get warmer in its highest setting. Another one from a different brand and a heating only seat are more comfortable for the older persons in the household.

Great bidet, but one problem
This bidet is great, very easy to install, but I have problem with my remote, the remote only last for few days and I only use the remote once. I'm pretty sure is not the battery problem because I change it few times already and it happen every few days. going to contact Home Depot if I can replace my remote.

totally dissatisfied - first swash worked properly for ONE day...
totally dissatisfied - first swash worked properly for ONE day - finally received a response from customer service after 5 days and a call and 2 emails and after some haggling they agreed to ship a replacement but only after providing credit card information - upon receipt, this unit lasted 4 days before breaking with same problem - the nozzle does not descend or retract during wash cycle - I do NOT recommend this product
