Internal memory will hold over 5,000 high-resolution photos - So you can add pics and then later on change to her Wi-Fi. It should be fine and you can also save the photos on a USB and then load the pictures onto the frame later on.

The USB port is for easy transfer of your digital media. It is meant to transfer the photos onto the frame and then once they are transferred you can have the photos loop.
