Our wood floors are manufactured in accordance with accepted industry standards, which permit grading deficiencies not to exceed 5%. These grading deficiencies may be of a manufacturing or natural type. When flooring is ordered, a 5% must be added to the actual square footage needed for cutting and grading allowance. If you feel that the issue you have experienced has to do with the manufacturing of the product, you may go back to the flooring retailer where the material was purchased with a copy of your receipt. A sales associate may be able to initiate the inspection process and file a potential claim on your behalf.
