The colors are gorgeous but the flooring is difficult to install. Warped boards, and bad cuts on the tongue of some of the boards. I put this down a few years ago in another room and it scratches very easily. Do not install if you have pets due to this. The high gloss is pretty when it’s freshly cleaned or polished.

The quality control on this was horrible. Some boards were just a bit wider on one end than the other which throws off your next boards leaving a small gap. Each row after just compounds the problem. I bought Bruce thinking it would be better quality than the crap that lumber liquidators sells. Not so much.

Hi Joe,

Thank you for taking the time to enter your comments about this flooring product. We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with your flooring product.

Beautiful hardwood floors are a product of nature and therefore, not perfect. Our wood floors are manufactured in accordance with accepted industry standards, which permit grading deficiencies not to exceed 5%. These grading deficiencies may be of a manufacturing or natural type. When flooring is ordered, 5% must be added to the actual square footage needed for cutting and grading allowance.

If you feel this is a manufacturing issue, you may go back to the flooring retailer where the material was purchased, with a copy of your receipt. A sales associate will be happy to inspect your flooring product and file a potential claim on your behalf.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience and hope that this information is helpful. Have a great day. AHFProducts

Way too many chipped, warped planks for this price point. Only about 50% are clean straight planks. Huge waste of time, $ and effort.

Response from Armstrong FlooringDec 19, 2018
Good afternoon. Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our product. I am sorry that there was an issue with your flooring, we pride ourselves on manufacturing quality flooring that meets or exceeds your expectations. Planks with a warp or a bow would be fairly common in a solid hardwood floor, as long as the problem isn't excessive the flooring can be pulled flat when it is nailed in place. Chipped flooring is another issue entirely. hardwood floors are a product of nature and therefore, not perfect. Our wood floors are manufactured in accordance with accepted industry standards, which permit grading deficiencies not to exceed 5%. these grading deficiencies may be of a manufacturing or natural type. If the issues you are dealing with exceed 5% of the total square footage of the flooring, we recommend contacting the store where you purchased your product. A flooring associate from the store will be able to initiate a warranty claim on your behalf. Please have your proof of purchase available when contacting the retailer. Again I do apologize for the inconvenience. Have a great day. Armstrong
