I see you recommend the S-1836 Quiet Comfort Premium underlayment. We are in a condo building with units below us and looking for as much sound barrier as reasonably possible. Could we install 2 layers of this underlayment and would it be beneficial in an attempt to double up the sound proofing? Thx

Hi Kknd, Thank you for contacting us. If you are installing this product by floating it, then we recommend using the S-1836 Quiet Comfort Premium or the S-1837 Quite Comfort underlayment. We also recommend using the Everseal adhesive in the groove of each plank to eliminate movement that may contribute to noise.
