Customer Reviews

Brussel's Bonsai Gensing Grafted Ficus Bonsai is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easily maintained, nice looking houseplant or Mandrake Root.. Feeling bummed and the need to spruce up my apartment with some green plants, I bought this little guy right before spring. The only thing I would disagree with about the directions for care is the amount of sunlight the little plant seems to want... it says "a wide range of light" on the website but when i purchased my plant, it had a tag that said do not place in direct sunlight and only give 5 ice cubes of water a WEEK. After following directions for a couple of months.. my little guy (that also very much resembles Mandrake Root from Harry Potter.) started to dwindle.. he lost a lot of leaves and never grew any new ones... i started experimenting and found that 5 ice cubes a week was not at all what this plant needed... currently i have my plant...at it's thriving best which required direct sunlight (he sits on my balcony-i never move him unless it rains more than two days in a row.. i dont want to drown him out) and i do not even water him since i live in NorthEastern Ohio.. he gets enough water from our rain. My plant has grown exponentially since I disregarded the directions and went with my gut. Outdoor plant for reasonable weather.. water thoroughly twice a week (unless you have good rainfall)
