Well built shovel designed for work in mud or where a good amount of water / sand is present. Fiberglass handle makes it lighter than shovel with wood handle. Foot rest is 1 inch wide making it comfortable to push into soil. 14 gauge blade. Made in Ohio. There is no indentation on the back of the shovel thus no place for dirt/mud to collect. Shovel was shipped to me. Packing material seemed a little cheap but product arrived in good shape. Will use it to move around the sand in my lakefront /beach.

The shovel is fine. But it does not have the USA pattern drilled into it. I would have bought it anyway, they should just get their advertising correct.The mud shovel works great for removing debris from culverts.

Living in Houston TX we have a lot of clay in our ground. My husband was trying to dig up a plant with deep roots and it inevitably broke a shovel with a wood handle! This shovel with the 71 drain holes, reinforced fiberglass long handle is indubitably much higher in durability and quality than my previous shovel. I think that I will get many years of use out of it! Love the USA pattern in the shovel head! Bully Tools are made in America! Good price point. Highly Recommend!

This shovel has a very sturdy, long fiberglass handle. It is very well made. We have used it in our yard for all our landscaping jobs and for planting when we need to remove dirt from a hole that's already filled with water. It makes it much easier to lift out the dirt without the weight of the water since it easily drains out the holes. We have used it to pry large rocks out of the ground and it has held up well.

A good, solid shovel that will likely stand up to many years of use. When you hold it in your hands, you can feel the heft and quality of materials that went into making this shovel. The long handle makes it easy to use from really any position. So far, I've used this shovel in my backyard to dig up some old shrubbery, and it works like a charm. Great product!

This shovel is light but well constructed and you have to like the USA logo in the shovel head. I like that the back of the shovel head where it attaches to the shaft is thicker than most shovels I have. This is usually a weak point and its nice to see that its sturdy. I thought that the weight was perfect and the grip and shaft are well made. I would recommend this shovel.
