No.. I wouldn't recommend it for that purpose. The blade isn't that thin for that purpose. If you were removing the Hardwood floors, it would be perfect.

Can this scrapper handle scrapping tiles glued with black mastic? some tiles come up easy, some don't.

We have removed many black mastic applied tiled floors with this. However it does not remove the mastic.
