Can these be used in fire bowls?
Asked by SH August 13, 2017Hello, Our Beach Lava is still under going testing. Due to the different variations in how porous each pebble is, we can not claim this product safe for any type of fire element at this time. Right now we recommend it only to be used for landscaping purposes only. Thank You, Sonya

How many bags make up a full pallet?

Approx. how many rocks are in a bag? Approx. how many square feet would one layer of rocks make?
Asked by LifeLearner February 8, 2018Hello LifeLearner, Our product will range in the amounts per bag due to them being sold by weight. Each bag will also vary depending on the density of the pebble. From ones that we have counted, it can range from approximately 95 to approximately 125 per 40 lb bag. At a 2" depth one bag will cover approximately 3 sq ft. - Thank you, Brianna
can these be used in a gas fire pit?
Asked by mimi March 20, 2017Hello Mimi, This material is still undergoing testing. We can not guarantee it will not pop with any fire element because some of the pebble are not as porous as others. As of right now we are only selling it as a landscaping material. We can not recommend this for fire pits until further testing is completed. Thank you, Sonya
