Product Details

Hidden deck screws for any board.Hide your deck screws with the CAMO MARKSMAN system. Any wood or composite board in any square or grooved board profile, Edge hidden deck screws are the best way to enjoy the beauty of your deck top without seeing your fasteners.Edge hidden deck screws are installed on the edge of the deck board, hiding the fastener while protecting the face of the deck board. The rake tip design of the screw augers material as it is driven, leaving you with a fastener free deck surface that is less prone to splitting and cracking. Not only does this system improve the overall look of your deck, but it holds stronger than a traditional face fastener. When a deck board is face fastened, the head of the screw or nail is keeping your board in place. Edge hidden deck screws leverage the strength of the entire screw to hold your deck board in place.Edge Hidden Deck Screws are easy to install using either the CAMO DRIVE system or the Marksman system. Available in PROTECH exterior coating and 316 stainless steel.
  • For use exclusively with the CAMO MARKSMAN system

Q:There are three different boxes of this typ (316, 23/8) on offer. The count is different, but what else? The 350 count is cheaper per piece than the 700 count which is unusual. The 1750 count has one horrible review. So at what am I looking here?

Answer This Question

A:  Two lengths and two finishes are available in CAMO Edge Fastening. 1-7/8” and 2-3/8” length fasteners are available in either our proprietary exterior PROTECH coating or 316 stainless steel. We offer counts of 100, 350, 700 and 1750 for maximum flexibility when planning your decking project. Unfortunately, sometimes bad reviews happen. I can assure you that CAMO stands behind our system when the installer follows the installation instructions for CAMO product and with proper installation practices for the overall deck.

    Answer This Question

A:  Great choice parring the Veranda board with CAMO Edge Fastening technology! You’ll love the results! The 2-3/8 in. deck screw is a great choice for fastening your 1 in. boards. Please share pictures of your project when you’re done.

The screws tend to ring off when screwing into treated lumber.

These screws go in great! Really great! After a year or so I notice that my deck boards were squeaking. Yep, these screws break after a year or do (at least in Ohio). My deck was installed properly. It's the screws and I have had little to no luck talking with the company. Save your money!

These screws really hold tight--even on twisted and cupped boards.
Not one of the screws broke. The Camo system works great!
