Plant Inn 4 ft. x 4 ft. Gray/Clear Raised Bed DIY Greenhouse Kit

It look me 1 afternoon to put this greenhouse together. I needed my husband's help twice to hold a part while I inserted another piece, other than that I put it together myself. I have planted lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries, basil, oregano, cilantro, and peppers. Everything is growing wonderfully. I would recommend this for anyone who lives in an area where wildlife eats your garden plants.

Ok, yes, it's a beast to assemble. But it's 100% manageable! I got this for my wife's birthday recently, and between the two of us it took about 3-4 hours to assemble. There are a lot of parts, and 30+ pages of instructions, but we were impressed with every step of the assembly. The instructions are fairly easy to follow, and you can tell that a lot of attention to detail was put into every step of this product's development. The frame is very sturdy and very high quality. The sliding panels for the storage area are a bit thin, and the polycarb panels are a bit flimsy, but they do their job perfectly for a greenhouse of this price range. As long as you're not the kind of person to rage-quit on a 3-4 hour assembly job, then I would 100% recommend this product!

I was a bit worried about buying this greenhouse because of so many comments saying it was complicated and difficult to assemble, but it was one of the easiest thing I done. There is no written instructions but everything is carefully illustrated and so easy to follow. Just take your time and follow all the directions and don't skip any step, and it's a fun thing to assemble. I did it in around 3 hours and I did it alone (I am a small woman). This thing is so well thought of, the design is simply genius! At the end the flip door would not close completely so I untied the screws that hold the central structure and lowered it 1/8'', one corner at the time and I used a good tool to screw those 8 bolts tightly, once I had adjusted the proper height so that both door would close perfectly. That adjustment was very easy to do. If I had a bigger place, I would buy another one. At first I thought the panels were a little tin, but the plastic is very strong. I am not sure how it will scratch easily, but I will be very careful not to scratch it. I bought this for my sarracenias and will put an aquarium underneath (sump principle) and make the water circulate constantly. There will be no soil in my greenhouse, only square pots that stand in a few inches of water (depth of the trays). I could not possibly find another kit that would have fit my needs better. I will not leave it outside for the winter as it is so easy to assemble, and the second time it will take just about an hour because I will not have to disassemble everything. I can leave both doors, the central structure (48'' x 48'' X 7''), and the base assembled and store it in blocs. In spring, it will take no time to put it back together. I am very happy with this greenhouse and would recommend it to any one with a small backyard. Take your time, study the graphics carefully and don't forget to tighten the bolts after you slide the parts in place! If you do it properly, this is very solid and strong!

I got this for xmas and assembled it together today. It suggested 2 people, however I found no issue doing it single handedly. The pictures in the manual allowed me to assemble it without any errors or "redos".

We live in Central Florida and we have been using this greenhouse for about 4 years. We absolutely love it. In the summer we grow flowers and in the fall/winter spring we grow lettuce, chard, spinach etc. No bending which really helps when getting older. Has held up well in four hurricanes. The only down side it that putting it together was a bear - I am NOT a DIY person and I had no help and it took me about a week - with many frustrating moments. But when it is all said and done we love it

I really like this little green house, however I recommend that you have at least one helper to do the assembly. There are some 36 pages of drawings for the assembly, no written explanations. Be prepared to spend several hours to put this greenhouse together. I also bought some decking lumber to make planks over those rather flimsy black plastic trays and placed the plants in their own containers over the planks. I also made a treated lumber platform on 4" casters with brakes and mounted the greenhouse over it. I can now roll it around my large deck, according the the sunlight. And I drilled 4 holes in the platform to pass through the drain pipes. I would not leave the roof panels in the up position when it is very windy.

We've had our greenhouse a month or so now and absolutely love it. The assembly instructions were a little intimidating at first, but once we got going they were easy to follow. We were a little disappointed with the thickness of the bottom sides, but they seem to be holding up well. The plants inside are thriving and look gorgeous,. Couldn't be happier. Since our plants are in pots, however, we did add wood slats across the plastic trays for additional support and they work really well.

Great option for people with limited gardening space

My very mechanically inclined with strong ability to interpret pictures found this nearly impossible to construct. The 400+ pieces numbered and diagramed but very little else it took him weeks to assemble out of frustration.
