Roma Hexagonal 12 ft. x 14 ft. Gray/Bronze Outdoor Gazebo

It took us three step ladders (One very tall to support the frame) and two people to set this gazebo up. Now to see if the roof survives any hail and the winter. If yes, we love it.

I wanted to give this 5 stars but for the cost I would have liked it to be a little larger, have the option to have two sets of curtains (mosquito and opaque and be designed better with construction in mind. The gazebo arrived in two boxes weighing 350lbs. Delivery was from same day world wide which specializes in large objects. Delivery was easier than I had expected, they placed it against the wall in my garage which was helpful. I had to level my interlock patio before installation as it can't be installed on anything 5% or greater slope. The poles screw into steel caps with self tapping screws. Each of these poles are attached to steel brackets that hold more aluminum parts. Aluminium is great as it does not rust like steel. Took about a day to construct the main base and roof foundation. I was able to do this with only 2 people which is rare for most gazebos given they are often made of heavy powder coated steel. Getting the structure upright was the hardest part, the instructions had no words and although the pictures were clear, they were not especially intuitive for the DIY person. For instance the parts were put together to realize later that the joints blocked the screw holes for the poles and had to be re-done. The panels are made of poly-carbonate (plastic) and are translucent. They block about 70% of the sun, so if you want dark shade this gazebo is not for you. I wish they made the panels completely opaque. The roof was hard to put together as you had to hold the plastic panel, an aluminum support, a drill and a small self tapping screw with two hands. Not an easy task when you are asked to put pressure to self tap the screw into an aluminum beam 8 feet off the ground. Mounting to the ground is done with 4 long cement screws, which required a rental of a SDS hammer drill to install. With a cement install, they is rated at 120km/h wind resistance. Product is made in Israel not china which is a plus. The company who makes it is Footprint Products Limited while the poly-carbonate panels are made by Palram.

Nice construction. Directions need a little help. You need three people to stand it up.

A bit overpriced compared to others, but the workmanship is outstanding.
