    A:  Batteries are inserted through the bottom of the removable light unit. I think there’s a weird configuration for the three AAA batteries, so be sure to read the +/- directions. I trimmed down the red cloth strip inside the battery compartment as it seemed waaaaay too long.

    A:  According to the instructions on one of the pictures (you have to click the 4 extra photos), you take the lamp off and on the underside of that is where you put the batteries.

            I have a large head and was surprised by the ample space the adjustable band allows. The different lenses are easy to change and flip up when you don’t need magnification. The light is removable and not super bright. The whole shebang sits comfortably for hours, if necessary. Just wish it wasn’t made in China.
