GARBAGE. Didn't last a single season. Not waterproof at all since the tongue allows moisture to slide down into the front. In fact, sand/soil falls in and gets stuck between the padding layers; so much that debris bulges in a pocket between the seams, creating cramped toe space. Rivet that was holding the lace popped off. The ear from the metal clip holding the upper lace is also weak bending and finally breaking off.

Only two days after the purchase, I had to test them in snowy, very wet conditions. The waterproofness shown very good results. After three hours walking in ankle-high snow, my feet were warm and dry. Very comfortable to wear, Caterpillar D-wide boots are the only models that fit my feet. Very sturdy finishing and shinny leather, easy to care for. Better when used with thick socks.
