Buy something else

Followed instructions screwed it in the part in the ceiling broke now I have a hole in the ceiling not worth anything

Broken after 2 months

This hook worked fine holding up a 10 lb plant for about 2 months, then the toggle broke in half and it fell out of the ceiling.

Worse than useless

It immediately snapped in half during installation. Now I have a hole in my ceiling and broken hardware in the way of getting anything better made in there. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do.

Terrible Product

I got this because it swivels and I need that. Everyone giving this bad reviews is correct. The toggle bolt will snap before it is secure making this product useless for its purpose and leaving a big hole in your ceiling. It is a badly executed design and should no longer be sold until they fix it

I have used these successfully in the past, however I have had 2 housings break due to material defect in the last 2 months leaving the anchor trapped in the ceiling with no means to recover and use. Not sure if mfg specs have recently changed, I’d consider alternatives if you can.

The screw was defective and didn’t have the phillips slots cut into it to support the screwdriver. Then when I found another screw that would work the flip over driller fell apart in the ceiling. I had to go buy the old school spring loaded ceiling anchor and drill a bigger hole in the swivel. I would not recommend this product.
