Questions & Answers

How should I get this edging to go into the ground farther so not much is showing?

How should I get this edging to go into the ground farther so not much is showing?
Asked by: Eagle1
An electric edger with a new blade works great. layout your line, use the edger to cut a slot in the ground and use a board and mallet to slide the edging into the slot. this works well around curves for a nice line as well as for a straight run.

do the stakes go to the inside or the outside?
Asked by: Tom
It probably depends on what you're edging. For my project, I was edging 16" decorative tiles next to grass. I put the stakes on the grass side to keep the edging as close to the tiles as possible. If edging grass, it may be appropriate to the put stakes on the other side of the grass to make trimming as clean and easy as possible.
