CREATIVE SURFACES 5 x 6 ft. Self-Closing Gate Frame includes one gate frame and self closing accessories. Composite fence panels and gate post sold separately. This gate must be used with 6 ft. Surface Mount GATE POST (HDGTEPST0001) or 8ft In-Ground GATE POST (HDGTEPST0002). Our gates are self-closing for ease of use and made from durable black aluminum to complement your CREATIVE SURFACES fence.
  • This item includes: 1x Gate Frame, 1x Self-Closing Accessories
  • Assembled Gate dimensions: 4.99 ft. x 5.74 ft.
  • Does not include: CREATIVE SURFACES Fence Panels and 6 ft. or 8 ft. Gate Post
  • To complete gate section: Purchase 1x CREATIVE SURFACES 6 ft. Surface Mount Gate Post (HDGTEPST0001) or 1x 8 ft. In-Ground Gate Post (HDGTEPST0002) as well as composite Fence Panels (HDPNL0001 or HDPNL0002).

Q:I am considering installing two of your gate kits side by side with a removable center post. I have an opening of 10?10?. If my calculations are correct two gates and 3 post would equal 130.26 inches or 10.855 ft. or 10?10.26?. Would you confirm please?

A:  Hi Dave, please be advised that there are components that are installed on both the gate post and the other post that are needed for the gate to operate properly. For example, the latch for the gate is installed both on the gate frame itself as well as on the standard post. In addition, none of our posts are designed to be removable. They are all designed for permanent installation. The total space would be approximately 130 inches (Internal: It's around 129.13 I am rounding up to cover for any misses).     A:  Hi, thank you for choosing us for your project. Yes, you can fix the gate frame to a wall. However please note our screws are used for aluminum posts, it’s not suitable for the wall. So if you want to fix the gate frame to a wall you’ll need to purchase some stronger screws for the wall. Thank you, Creative Surfaces.
