In answer to first question you stated post should go at least 30" below ground level. Post is 8', 6 should be above ground level, at least 30" below it's already more than 8', how it should work? And second question, it's hollow, is it be strong enough?
Hello Vitaliy, The post itself is installed 24" (60.96 cm) below ground level. However, as per the manufacturer's specifications (within the installation guide), the hole should be 30" deep and the bottom 6" should be filled with concrete. This creates a concrete base at the bottom of the hole and positions the post so that it extends 24" (60.96 cm) below the finished ground surface. Hello Leslie, Yes, this post is designed for in-ground installation and do not require anything inside the post. The vinyl posts require a 12" (30.48 cm) diameter hole and should be installed at least 30" (76.2 cm) below grade. Purpose of a Vinyl fence post w/o an insert? No one would install a standalone vinyl post w/o an insert - unless they are an idiot. You keep stating that the Vinyl post w/ aluminum insert is only for gate installs-not true according to your own website.
Hello Lucas, the fence is not designed to have the vinyl posts without inserts. The posts with aluminum inserts will not install properly with just the vinyl panels, and will only work properly with the gates as our installation guide states.
