This dual circuit electric heat relay is replacing a defective White Rogers relay that keeps failing. So far the Honeywell relay is working great. This includes a 3 wire 24 volt transformer for a thermostat.

I've replaced this item in my home several times over the past 33 years. Usually, one of the contacts sticks closed causing heat to never turn off on one circuit. This item works fine as a direct replacement for several years. However, the most recent purchase had damaged threads on the top where the mounting nut goes. It wasn't obvious, so I'd have to guess it was a manufacturing defect of some type. The first two or three threads were so bad that I had to mount it in a vice and use a large wrench to get the nut to turn. After several turns it was fine. I ordered it two years ago but didn't install it until recently, so I doubt if I could have returned it. Hopefully, I just got a random defect. Otherwise, the unit works fine for baseboard heat controls using a standard low voltage thermostat.

Works great, temperature fluctuates only 2-3 degrees. And you can use any thermostat. I have 2 circuit breakers and 2 sets of heaters totaling 6000 Watts. No problem at all. Just had to figure out the 2 incoming lines, that wasn't very clear in the manual. But I got it working with some logic thinking. :-)
