Q:Can this heater be installed along a wall that is brick veneer? Also, I see the note about not installing it below electrical outlets. If outlets are just outside the width of the heater, is that ok?

Answer This Question
A:Â Good Day Jim,
You would have to check with the manufacture of the brick veneer to see what temperature it will with stand. The outlet is ok if it is beside the heater.

I replaced a 70's vintage heater with this one. Overall weight and steel gauge decreased. I hope the efficiency increased. Wiring instructions covered all scenarios and easy to understand. The paint quality is good and the heater has a modern, streamlined look.

Easy swap if you're replacing an existing baseboard heater
Our 34 year old baseboard heater started getting really loud, making weird clicking noises when it cycled on so it was time for a new one. After looking at the label on the old one, it was clear that it was a 240V model, 72".
So I bought this one as a direct replacement. The size was spot on perfect which was important because there was a small section of our baseboard cut out around the existing heater and I didn't want to have to repair any of the baseboard or re-do it.
I dismounted the old baseboard from the wall, removed the wire connections, and with a bit of help from my wife got the new one situated and mounted. It was a direct swap so the wiring was pretty easy.
The only thing I would say is that the "punch out" holes to route the wires through did NOT come out easily. I had to use the bottom most punch out and it required a quick bit with my dremel tool to remove the two bits of metal where it's tacked in place.
Other than that, smooth sailing even for a DIY person like myself (I'm not a professional contractor or repairman.)

Quite and easy to put in
I just gutted an old home and installed the Cadet baseboard heaters. I used the 72" and 36 ". I used both this thermostat that goes on the heater and the wall thermostat. The are working great and are very quiet. I put them in one of my apartments earlier this year and my tenants and I are both happy with them.
