Can it be mounted upside down in order to get the fan to force warm air towards the floor?

Asked by: Mark
I don't know. It was installed by a professional. The one it replaced (a very old one that quit working) had the switch on top,and the air came out evenly, but it was too hot to leave on for a long time, That one didn't even have a fan it was so old. This new one with the fan is really good. It warms but is not too hot. If you are warming a really cold bathroom turn it on about 20-30 minutes before you need to be in there for a bath or shower. I've left it on for more than an hour and it just warms, doesn't heat up the cabinets in our small bathroom.

How does the automatic shut off work?

How does the automatic shut off work?
Asked by: EC
I believe it’s a thermal cut off. Basically if for some reason it overheats, the unit will just shut off. I’ve never seen it happen, but it’s pretty typical for these wall units to have a thermal cut off.
