Started our home on fire
Loved this unit until our fifth time when it caught on fire and started burning, causing the floor to start burning.

Door sensor malfunction, AVOID!
Was excited about this oven. But we almost always get a warning to "Close oven door cooking paused" even though it is closed. So oven doesn’t got hot and the light burned out twice because it never turns off. GE tech came 4 times, including one where he replaced screen and motherboard since it's not the door sensor. Problem came back and GE won’t replace for free. Based on other reviews, we aren't the only ones with this issue. I would expect better from GE. Avoid!

Wow- 6 burners
A standard 30” stove with 6 burners!! Awesome for
Making family meals and with a sleek professional look. The matte black finish is gorgeous.. not too dark!! The oven heats up quickly and so far has been great!

Awesome Range
Bought this range about a month ago after much research. I absolutely love it. It cooks evenly and adds beauty to my kitchen. Cannot wait for the rest of my appliances to go out so I can replace them. My only negative would be the trim filler kit which is pricey

Excellent Range - Beware of one problem when installing!
My wife is a chef and this setup has been good- consistent heat and many burners for complex meals. Warming tray is in constant use. This range is in use every night at our house for years now. Self clean does a decent, but not great job. The oven runs around 15-25F below indicated, so a 15 minute pizza will take 18 minutes at 425. You always have to go long on cook times.
BEWARE: BEFORE INSTALLING:
There is one horrible feature about this that you absolutely must learn about before installing. Most ranges like this require you to push (slide) them back into the slot on floorboards or plywood in the counter. The feet on this oven are FRAGILE and will bend if they catch on anything, such as the edge of tile, a knot in the plywood, etc..(see our pic.) They will bend easily and take a hours of effort to bend them back (removing the oven, laying it on its front and slowly using pliers to straighten the sheet metal. They are simply mounted in the sheet metal without reinforcement. Awful!
Also, we almost immediately replaced the knobs with the metal versions, which are available online (or were) ... the plastic ones are super cheaply made and basic cleaning rubs off the silkscreened numbers in a month.

Total Lemon
One would think for the money you spend on this cafe model that the oven should work, nope... Been over month and the light in the oven and the front control panel wont turn off and the oven won’t preheat because it thinks the door is open! A GE tech has been out 3 times and still no luck. Hoping to be able to cook by Christmas but I’m not optimistic.
Thought I was getting a premium brand but have been extremely disappointed; would not recommend. Off to go schedule another service call....

Very Dynamic Cooking Appliance
The oven works great! It heats up in no time whatsoever. I can remotely pre-heat my oven, kitchen timer and warmer from my smartphone through the Cafe App all throughout the house which makes it nice.
