A:  The bottom drawer guide hit the frame when pulled out. The bottom drawer also dragged on the bottom of the cabinet. I’m was able to repair both issues but I shouldn’t have had to.

    A:  The walls measure 1.2mm. I believe this converts to 12 gauge. These are heavyweight stainless steel and are extremely well built. You will not be disappointed.

      A:  Thank you for your question. To install these into your structure you will need #8 screw x 1". To install this unit, simply remove the drawers for the unit and slide in the drawing housing into your island. Using the self tapping screws though the interior of the drawer housing into your structure. If you are concerned about water leakage, simply add a dab if silicon to the threads of screw prior to installing them. Cal Flame BBQ Islands use steel tubing in their structure, requiring #8 x 1 in. Phillips Zinc-Plated Steel Truss-Head Lath Screw. You can find these screws on Homedepot.com by searching Model # 21508 Internet #100142621 Store SKU #185175.       These drawers are terrible. They do not slide out smooth at all. They scrape against the frame and the sliders are poor quality. Good thing I checked them before installing. I immediately returned them to Home Depot. I bought another set from a different manufacturer and they work great. The build quality is 100% better than these. No wonder they cost significantly less than other brands.

        The unit looked good however the bottom drawer guide hit the side trim when pulled out. I repaired it by using a angle grinder to chamfer the edge of the guide. The bottom drawer also dragged on the bottom of the cabinet. Again I used the angle grinder to remove some of the metal that was dragging.
