Q:Does the compressed air pass through the dryer before it enters the tank or when the air is removed from the tank? Can the 2 motors/compressors be operated in a lead-lag mode or do they both run simultaneously?

Answer This Question

A:  The motor/pump assembly pulls in the ambient environment/external air through 2 motor filters, then the motor/pump compresses and routes the very HOT-MOIST AIR (~117-130F) into an Aftercooler (black rectangular shaped assembly) which the lowers the temperature of the air down to ~72F, the air is filtered through 0.01 micron filters and then routed through a cannister air dryer/filtering system (large white spin-on filter). The air regenerates the spin on filter by recycling the air between filter and cannister. The 98% dry air is then routed into the large holding tank. Output air filter/regulator has a 3/8” NPT threaded port where you will connect your air hose. Simultaneously. Both motors are actuated at the same time when the pressure in the tank drops to ~92 PSI. They then shutoff when the pressure achieves ~125 PSI.
