It worked perfectly. I connected a drain pipe into a regulation "cat hole", and used Ivory soap to wash, using a pitcher to dump solar-heated water over us. Water was heated in a Home depot Orange Bucket painted black and left out in the sun while we hiked during the day.
It worked perfectly.
JZ recommends this pan. It is pliable, (crams into a grossly over-loaded car trunk), it's large enough to hold the tent inside it when packing, and to stand in when taking a camp shower; as well, it is strong enough not to crack when accidentally stepping on the side.
I'll bet it works great as a water heater drain pan too; it certainly works ideally at the campground.
