A small but powerful impact wrench. This is a nice wrench. It's small and light weight but has a lot of torque. I like the fact that it doesn't use a lot of air. about 3 scfm at 90 psi. This allows you to use the wrench with smaller compressors. I have a 20 gallon that is more than enough for this wrench.
There is a knob on the back of the wrench that lets you select the direction and also speed / torque in the tightening direction.
As far as performance it does a great job. I had a lug nut on my truck that I could not loosen with my 1/2" breaker bar. I tried it with this wrench and it loosened it with no problem. A perfect impact wrench for your garage or shop at a great price.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Good Size & Weight, Light Weight, Strong
This 1/2 in. impact wrench is excellent at removing lug nuts from a tire flawlessly. No strain noted of any kind. I power it with a 26 gallon air compressor that delivers 4.0 CFM @ 90 psi. You will need a compressor that delivers at least 3.4 CFM @ 90 psi to power it up properly. Has a dial gauge in the rear that lets you select forward or reverse and has low, medium and full power output. This is a hefty unit weighing over 5 LBS with a soft comfort grip. It will not slip out of your hands. Very well made and rugged.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Good Size & Weight, Long-Lasting, Strong, Sturdy

The Campbell Hausfeld 1/2 in. impact has met my expectation and HD packaging and delivery also was quick. My impact sockets fit snugly and can be removed with a firm yank. I use Milton Highflowpro couplers and plugs to get maximum pressure. Great product and price.
Similar performance at a fraction of the price. It might not be the best for heavy duty professional use but great for home. Have 4.3 cfm @90 psi compressor. Using hi-flo connectors makes a huge difference and oil every use. If you use a cheap 1/4in plastic air hose and less than reccomended cfm it will not perform to capability regardless of psi. 3 speed forward and full power reverse switch works well.

Bought this impact wrench to help build a 14’ x 24’ storage shed for a boat. I also used a 1/2 inch drill chuck so I could both drill the pilot holes and drive the lag bolts. Ran it with a 8 gal air comp and it did an excellent job. This Project was no match for my electric drill. Overall, great buy
Seems a very good wrench. Ran just fine with cheap 3 gal compressor--went surprisingly long on that small tank. Plenty of torque to remove lug nuts. Sure, it may be faster to remove several lug nuts in a row "indy car" style with a bigger compressor tank/motor, but it's not absolutely necessary. Nice finish. Easy grip. Intuitive, convenient forward-reverse control. Arrived quickly via UPS ground. Good value, too.
Not as powerful as rated but a good quality product. A 20 gallon or more compressor should be used to prevent constant cycling on and off. I only have an 8 gallon compressor but works on lug nuts if wheel is off ground to prevent nuts from having restriction. Still I use hand wrench to snug up. Good price.

Marketing Dept. says its 550#, however when you look at the engineer spec sheet/pdf, it plainly say max torque 450#. And thats absolute best they could get in their testing lab. **Working Torque is listed as 75-400#, so thats the real working max anyone can expect.
I just bought a neato HF 150# 1/2" Torque wrench, so I'm going to pick this CS model up and see if it can actually remove a 150 Ft/# bolt. If so, then for the price I'd expect its possibly better than HF mid-range equivelents. Otherwise, I'll go test HF model.
Amazing though, that the main ad says 550# when the linked to Specifications guide says 450#. Who's lieing here, CH or Home Depot?

Excellent value with lowest price when purchased online. Initially i went looking for the item at my local store. Associate at store was unaware of online sales. Delivery to my store was very fast and picking it up was a snap. I figure I saved $25 on this item by purchasing this online. Tremendously satisfied.
