Cap A Tread Risers are a durable laminate. For updating carpeted or worn out stairs. Easy glue down installation. Cost effective way to add value to your home.

A:  Thank you for your question. Unfortunately due to raw material delays. They will not be back in stock until Mid-December. You may place a special order in person at your local Home Depot retail store. The special order SKU is 1001759887, Model #016074570, retail price $52.83. Best of luck with your project.

    A:  Thank you for your interest in Zamma cap-a-treads. The auburn scraped oak appears to have a reddish tint that is not present in the Hoboken Oak. You may want to look at Burnt Oak as an alternate option or reach out to Home Depot directly for an alternative. Good luck with your project.

            Ordered three of these to be shipped to my home. When they arrived two were damaged and they had a white dust all over them. When I pay $400 for something, I expect it to be clean and ready to install. I even took a day off work to install so, now my time is wasted also. I guess I will have to waste more time shipping these back or driving to a Home Depot. Second order in 5 weeks to arrive with damage, NOT GOOD!!! I have spent somewhere around $1700 on this floor, I should not have to deal with this.

              Love, Love, Love. Gave 100+ year old stair such a clean and updated look! Matched perfectly with the flooring we installed at the top of the stairs and adjoining rooms. We also bought deep brown DAP caulking for a truly finished look (which also discreetly hid any minor mis cuts- use painting tape, as that type of caulk was a little runny). We hand painted the risers white rather than by ding the white risers pieces). Gorgeous!

              Bought cap a treads on may 25, received June 1, installed same day. June 4; four (4) treads are delaminating. I’m gutted; absolutely disappointed. Terrible product. Only choice is to rip up and waste of thousands of dollars.
