Looks great relatively easy install
Looks great, pretty easy to work with. Just have the right saw/tools to do it and you’ll be fine. Of note a 0.75 thickened riser was kind of a snug fit especially since some of my stairs didn’t quite have the exact bull nose size so I’d recommend a half inch thick riser. Other than that looks great and matches our pergo Java scraped oak floors perfectly

The Cap a tread product, type 2, was exactly what the description said. Using a stair tread template from Home Depot and a sliding compound miter saw, it was very easy to cut the treads to fit. I used about a half a tube of construction adhesive on each step. If I could give one tip, do not push the nose piece all the way up against the riser. I say this because if there’s any movement in the step, you will have squeaky stairs. To remedy the situation I used a vibrating saw and cut the nose along the riser. This got rid of all of squeakes. I would definitely use this product again.

Poor shipping material
This is pertaining to the Cap-A-Tread with the return. This is the second time i have purchased these and the 45 cut is smashed

Poor quality. The laminate was already starting to peel. I wouldn’t risk cutting down tread for fear of further damage. Also treads are so abused I could see wear happening quickly. There are several colors but many are so similar the choices end up being few. Dont recommend
