AnswersHome Depot only carry Type 1 in through their website. Type 2 will need to be special ordered. Please contact Zamma (678) 903-6001 to speak with a representative for more information about inquiring which product you need and color. Ask about Type 2 Zamma Cap A tread and inquire the SKU or product number. You will then return back to Home Depot to special order the part through Home Depot Pro Desk.
The description states this item is a vinyl overlay, however, a reviewer stated that it is not actually vinyl. So is it, or not, vinyl?

AnswerDo NOT buy this product. They are DANGEROUS. Mine were installed and so slippery they were a dangerous falling hazard. I spend a LOT of money on them and called a carpet company the next to rip them out and install carpet. This product should be recalled from the market and they should reimburse people who purchased this product.

AnswerThese only cover the treads so They will work. You should be able to use any riser covers.

AnswerYes, They are called: Left Return Stair Tread or Right Return Stair Tread. They are very hard to find in THD website. Look under Vinyl Plank Stair Treads. Open up a Product Brochure under INFO & GUIDES and it should have all the types of stairs treads available.

Installed it anyway because its the only thing i could find, in herited a home that the stairs definitely had lead paint so i needed some way of updating them. Im worried about the longevity of the product but as lf now brand new they look much better

Installation requires a high degree of measuring skills. A sliding miter saw that does not deflect when extended will aid tremendously in cutting this product. I used a miter saw that does not slide and had to flip each stair to do a second cut to make it all the way through the width of the stair material. It worked just fine and left me with a clean precise cut, but I am also a shop teacher of 13 years...I make due with the tools that I have been provided.
