Icing on the Cake!
Worked Perfectly! The colour match was as close as could be. Use more glue than you think. Not available in Canada, so we had to purchase in the US and cross the board to pickup at Niagara Home Depot. I'm not sure why the floor is sold in Canada but not the treads??

Okay, but all treads were almost identical!
I was VERY disappointed that all 12 caps were the same piece of repeating pattern on cheap MDF. Any reasonable person would have expected at least 5 or 6 different patterns to make installation easier, but this is not what I received. I was able to vary the look a little by sometimes cutting from the left and sometimes cutting from the right, or from both sides, for our 36 3/4" wide stairs. However, for this VERY expensive price, I expected MUCH BETTER than what I received! Caulk is next.
