2-Piece 60 in. Roof Top Cross Bar Set, for Use with Existing Raised Side Rails Only

Used twice to transport two 47 lb kayaks on a J-frame carrier attached to a utility trailer. They’re high-quality, install easily, and have a positive and secure grip on the utility trailer rails. Given the large span of just over 58 inches and the centered weight of 94 lbs of the two kayaks plus and additional 25 lbs of the J-frame carriers, I added a wood I-column center support to minimize sag and to avoid potential damage to the cross bars during transport and the natural bouncing of the kayaks over road surfaces. This may not be necessary, yet I felt more comfortable adding this support to extend the longevity of the cross bars.

Love it! Easy to mount on our 4Runner. Yakima Loadwarrior attaches easily to the rails with additional space for a bike mount. We had no issues with humming/resonating rails. Would highly recommend!

Perfect fit and worked flawlessly for 2500 mile trip

Easy mounting to a 2020 Chevy Traverse. The built in key lock keeps them secure when parked and unattended. Sixty inch width allows for mounting two kayaks side by side with the cockpit side down. When driving at highway speeds with nothing mounted the wind noise is loud, but not as bad with the kayaks on top. The manual says do not exceed 60 mph, but had no issues with the kayaks at 75 mph.
