Stay warm on the job with this comfortable Full Swing Steel Jacket by Carhartt. The engineered design provides stretch without bulk for quick and easy movement. Featuring 10 oz., stretch cotton Cordura ripstop, 73% cotton/24% Cordura nylon/3% spandex with Rain Defender, it's as light as it is durable. Its 80 grams of 3M insulation provide extra warmth. The arms move freely without the jacket riding up. A left-chest pocket with zipper and two lower-front pockets help keep your tools and electronics secure. The Cordura durable reinforced cuff and hem, interior and exterior storm flaps, and detachable hood that snaps under the corduroy collar help keep the jacket securely in place. The inside storm flap and internal rib-knit storm cuffs help keep you dry in bad weather. Triple-stitched main seams give the jacket more durability and the drop tail gives you added coverage This jacket is imported.

Sizing issue, however a really great product.
So I ordered this Jacket (size M) online due to this product being labeled as “Relaxed Fit”. Now first and foremost, I have Carhartt Jackets in both Relaxed and Loose fits. This Jacket arrived and upon initial inspection I noticed the neck tag read “Loose Fit”, however the card that came along with the jacket says “Relaxed Fit”.
When I tried on this jacket, it actually felt more like a loose fit jacket, very similar fitting to a size M J140 Active Jac (loose fit) that I tried on in a Carhartt store. Initially I was expecting a fit more similar to a size M Bartlett Jacket (relaxed fit), which I own and really enjoy, but instead its more like a size M Active Jac. However this very minor disappointment was not enough to make me return this jacket, so I just layer up with a hoodie underneath and tighten the waist cord. With that being said, I’m wearing this jacket to work and am happy with it. The mobility is great on this jacket and it is really warm. I am very impressed with the attention to detail, and it has the rip stop material right where I need them and makes for a really awesome work jacket.

Mislabeled jacket. Disappointing
Disappointing. Got this coat from my wife for Xmas. She ordered the right coat, in the right size, and relaxed fit because I am slender and the loose fit looks a bit ridiculous on me. Tried the coat on and realized it fit like a loose fit jacket. All of the exterior tags labeled the coat as a relaxed fit, yet the the collar tag in the coat labeled it as loose fit. Now I have to send back an item that i need for work in the michigan winter. Coat would have fit great if it were actually the relaxed fit that was ordered. Really hope this mislabeling issue doesn't happen again.

My arms aren’t long enough
The large size for me was short in the length for me but perfect in the arms,and I have long arms. I ordered the large tall which was perfect in the length but the arms are to long.

I love it
It's working great. I haven't had it for very long, but it blocks wind extremely well and is really warm. I love it. I don't have any complaints about it.

Tough but stiff
I'm glad I purchased it. It's tough and the quality is great. But the material is so durable it makes wearing it a bit stiff. Perhaps with time and washing it'll loosen up.
