Great!
Love it! I've already gotten it muddy and I'm not sure how well it will clean off, but it's dry and comfortable which is all one can ask of a raincoat. Fits well if loosely.

Love the way this jacket looks but it doesn't keep you dry for more than 20-30 minutes...
This jacket is a fail as far as defending one from Storms. I am DRENCHED in 20-30 minutes while my partner is dry in his menswear Storm Defender Jacket. The fabric is not the same in the mens are woman's, the woman's has a softer hand which is nifty and all but I would rather be dry than have a softer, lighter weight fabric. This product needs to be about staying dry and not fashion so I would like it if you would make this jacket out of the same fabric as the mens version.

The Best!
I’ve been wearing this jacket for two years now and it is honestly the best jacket I’ve ever had! I’m a rural mail carrier in Kentucky and it gets used and abused. It is holding up wonderfully and still looks and feels new. I only came to the site tonight to make sure Carhartt was still making them! I’m so glad they do, I was compelled to write a review. Pilling fabric
I received this as a Christmas gift from my husband. I really like it but recently noticed the back and sides are pilling. Not the quality I expected and I will likely stop using it as it looks bad.

Good Jacket for cool mornings and evenings
I love the wine color and the fit. Detachable hood is convenient. I live the Northern California where it doesn’t rain much, I wear it in the cool mornings. It is just warm enough.
I do want to say the pockets aren’t big enough to hold my iPhone. It falls out of every pocket inside and out. I think it’s the angle that it is sewn. I need to put it in the square front outside pocket with the flap.

I love the jacket. However it is a RAIN COAT, not a heavyweight. There is no insulation whatsoever. But it is a wonderful raincoat, just not a great winter coat which is how it is advertised.
