42 in. Carbon Steel Oven Brush with Scraper

Oven Brush and Scraper. This brush is great , stiff but soft brass bristles in nice solid hardwood base. The scraper is at a good angle for scraping and the wood handle is of solid hard wood. For my use I've removed the scraper. We use it on the floor of our wood fired pizza oven which works great for cleaning the clay bottom cooking surface of hot ash before cooking a batch of pizza. It's also good for cleaning up the surface if cheese or whatever get melted on in between batches. At 750 to 900 degrees the hard wood holds up great. I've also used this on my Weber Kettle and gas grill which works well.

Excellent Brass bristle brush and scraper. Didn't realize that there was no angle to the draw and push. It's at 90 degrees.. The brush is great for an oven, but not for any floor job, The brush will really clean grill grates and flat surfaces. The scraper is high quality angled steel and has a very good edge. The bristles are thick and sturdy. I expect to find other uses for the brush. High quality components.

Our new (used) home came with a vintage 1980's commercial Wolf gas range with double ovens. The ovens badly needed cleaning, and are much deeper than normal household brushes can easily reach. This tool comes in very handy for us. Well made, brass bristles shouldn't scratch our oven interior. For normal sized home ovens, this is probably overkill. The handle alone is over 3 feet long.

This is a great brush. I have an outdoor wood burning pizza oven and this is great for cleaning the floor after I make a bunch of pizzas or in between pizzas. The long handle is a must because the oven gets to 1000 degrees inside so I don’t have to get my hands to close to the inside. The bristles are strong enough to clean most stuff off the oven floor but if I have a problem area there is also a metal scrapper as well. I have one that I have had for about 7 years. It’s starting to get worn out so I thought it time to get a new one.

In shock the pictures of this scraper are a little misleading. This scrapper is for the big boys, I got this for my medium size grill and was a little disappointed at how big it was. If your a big boy BBQer with big smokers and grills this is the scrapper for you. Not sure if I will keep it, may give it to a friend who has a large pit. I will say that it has a beautiful design, well made and the bristles look great. It nearly 3 ft long.
