About This Product
The Carlon 2-Gang Low-Voltage Old-Work Bracket is specially designed for the installation of Low-Voltage devices in an existing wall. The backless box design accommodates the space and bend-radius requirements of coaxial or data/communication cables and eliminates the need for metal plates, lags or screws. Non-metallic polyvinyl chloride resists rust, corrosion, impact and the damaging effects of sunlight.

Are these suitable for 0-10V class 2 diming circuits?
No, these are designed for low-voltage applications like cable television, data communication, or telephone jacks. They are not suitable for 0-10V Class 2 dimming circuits, which operate at a higher voltage.
Can this be used to align, straighten, and keep smart switches flush? I swapped out the regular switches with smart ones that are bulkier. However, they do not sit flush and are very hard to align. (See picture) Can I use these mounting frames to fix?
1. This is for a low voltage device - not 110v. 2. This does NOT go over an existing 2 gang box but is "new work" - goes over a hole in the wall board; held in place with ears. If you have a low voltage device with enough room in the opening you can "jiggle" the fit.
