Aromatic Eastern Red Cedar Closet Liner Tongue and Groove Planks, 35 sq. ft.

A:  True Aromatic Cedar (juniperus virginiana) grows only in the Southeast United States. We take great pride in using only sustainably harvested wood and do all of our manufacturing here in the US.

A:  Not sure. As long as you can hold the pieces in place as the glue dries it might work (lots of clamps and braces). I used 1/2 inch 23 gauge pins and they worked fine to hold the pieces in place.

A:  CedarSafe planks are perfect for lining a trunk. Yes you can use adhesive. My personal favorite is Loctite PowerGrab. It is a water based adhesive so it is VOC and solvent free. Good luck with your project!

A:  Yes it can. In fact it makes a beautiful ceiling, especially with an A frame or a cathedral ceiling. Use brad or trim nails and good quality adhesive.

A:  I have used it on the celling of a cedar closet. If you are using it on a large span, I would glue and nail it in place.

A:  I put it in my closet ceiling. Works fine as long as you attach it securely.

A:  Yes…

A:  I would not do that. The cedar planks are soft and will splinter easily. Would not hold up to any type of traffic. Nothing worse than a cedar splinter-except for a pressure treated lumber splinter.

A:  It shouldn't be a problem as long as the door is flat and square. You may want to picture frame the door to cover the end grain.

A:  Quite honestly, I wouldn't do it. The planks are too thin to withstand walking on it. It's best use is on the walls; I've done three closets, and am working on our bedroom closet as I write. A good alternative might be luxury vinyl for the floor. It is designed to look great and if you're transitioning from a closet to a flooring of different height, a simple transition strip will do.

A:  I would not advise...the tongue and groove is very thin, and the cedar is about 1/4 inch...also the finishing nails will have to work very hard to keep them in place as you walk on the cedar...on the walls it works beautifully...and is sufficient to keep those pesty moths out...the aroma is great
