If you want a relatively simple suspended ceiling with a great look, I would definitely recommend...
If you want a relatively simple suspended ceiling with a great look, I would definitely recommend this system to any Do It Yourselfer. The most important to thing to remember is insuring you prep the ceiling area first with strapping to level the area and allows for easier layout of the chalk line for your grid. Installation is a breeze if you have the mindset and follow the instructions.

Trick to perfect job
Contrary to the NJ comment it's easy to get level and solid. The trick is setting the cross pieces (flat side to flat side and snapped together into the slot. I found a flat sliver of wood and a pliers allowed one to easily snap together. Once properly snapped the whole assembly rigid and straight and the perfect ceiling over our outdoor hot tub in humid Louisiana! The other time saver was to hang with a running string for each 8' runner. Once the whole was level replacing the string with wire!

Light and easily cut to size. Light weight mains could have been stronger, but worked when suspended adequately. Wall brackets are too flexible and care must be taken when screwing to the wall lest the lower edge deforms and becomes wavy. We are generally satisfied overall and would definitely buy this again for its' ease of application and attractive price.
