I do not know for sure, but I doubt it. It may be possible that HD offers the UF in cut lengths, but you pay per foot.

Would this 12/2 wire support 110 Volt AC current over a distance of 320 feet and still provide enough power for 40 Watts at the end?

Asked by Ferd April 29, 2014

Answer

12 gauge wire is capable of carrying 20 amps at 110V normally, which equals 2200 watts. Over a distance of 320’ the voltage drops the voltage down to 89.67V while maintaining the 20 amps, which equals 1793 watts.

Answer

Yes, this is exactly the type of wire needed to add a power receptacle. This is a very easy DIY project. Adding wire conduit is recommended and bury deep enough that the wire will not have any chance of being exposed by yard equipment such as edge trimmers, lawn mowers and especially garden tillers. Consider having a licensed electrician inspect work prior to first use.

Can this be used in an indoor or basement applications as nm-b cable. I happen to have some laying around.
