Answers#6 THHN could be used, but is well oversized for the application. THHN must be pulled into a continuous conduit system. You would need to pull in 2 - #6 and 1 - #10 ground. Typically most people would use either 12-2 or 10-2 NM-B cable (aka Romex) in residential window A-C applications. Check the installation instructions for the size circuit and overcurrent protection required.
