      A:  Not to my knowledge. I was curious myself, so I googled it, and it is NOT recommended that you put melamine in the microwave.

        A:  Melamine, a type of plastic resin, serves as a lightweight and durable alternative to fragile dishware. Unlike glass or porcelain dishes, however, melamine plates shouldn't be used in the microwave. A microwave could damage the melamine or cause chemicals to leach into the food.

          A:  Absolutely not. Not intended for that. Best thing is use glass in microwave then transfer to these dishes

            A:  I wouldn't recommend using them in the microwave . . . they get very hot. They are, however, dishwasher safe.

                Artful, beautiful design
                I think of Home Depot as the place to go for home improvement projects and tools. Behr paints for cabinets? Yes. Maple plywood for shelves? Again yes. But beautiful plates such as these? Who would have thought? Not only do they add a bit of color to our table, but they are durable and easy to clean. And they are light. Kudos to Home Depot for bringing us such a pure design.
