The MyQ app includes core features that allow you to control your garage door, get status notifications and set schedules from anywhere. Set up customized real-time alerts so you know when your garage door opens or closes. Adding the Door Sensor will allow the ability to check the status and control 2 garage doors. It also provides low battery notifications for the Door Sensor through the MyQ app.

    Q:Will this sensor work with the MYQ-G0401 system for a 2nd garage door? The product description reads that it is compatible with the G0201 and the G0301. IF not, which sensor is compatible with the G0401 hub system?

    A:  MYQ-G0402MC that is the sensor that is needed. The older model will not work

        A:  Take it off the door. Pry open the cover. replace the battery. put back on door.

          A:  You would press the button on the bottom for the sensor to open and you will see the battery. Please refer to the owner's manual for further help.
