how quiet is this model compared to other enclosed inverter generators. side by side comparison

This isn't enclosed, so it's louder.

Does any one know how many decibels is this generator? Or this generator obnoxiously loud? I live...

It's loud but it diminishes quite a lot with distance. It's not painfully or obnoxiously loud. It might be too loud for nighttime use in a campground, though.

Can I hook up two 3400 W generator inverter’s with a 2000 W connection

Asked by Rob February 18, 2021
2
Answers

If your asking can you hook up two 3400 W generators in parallel the answer is yes. Use the 50 Amp parallel kit made by Champion to get the most power or use the 30 Amp parallel kit if less power is needed. The circuit breakers for each parallel kit will limit the max power output even though the combined generators can produce more. Check the plug type of what you need to power to be sure the parallel kit will accept it.

Champion Power Equipment DH 4000-Watt Recoil Start Gas and Propane Dual Fuel generator should have the oil changed before storage. I recommend using propane only and not gasoline, so you wont gum up the carburetor, and propane will not spoil like gasoline. Keep a tank ready... RR

No. This this is a 120V generator. Your 240V appliances won't work and may be damaged. You will need a generator when the receptacle is labeled 120/240V. I'm not aware of any dual fuel inverter units that are 120/240V. RV 30 amp and 50 amp connections are 120V only.

Best choice I've made!!
Did a lot of research on line, best choice,(a little heavy) so happy with my choice!!!
by UNRULEY
Just as expected
Just ordered this generator two days ago, shipped from CT to MD...I'm very impressed with such a fast delivery for a heavy product considering the amount of time other smaller products take. Very well packed, box arrived in excellent conditions. First impression is that it is well constructed, but I will provide a future update if something breaks. The tires are made out of compacted rubber which should require lower maintenance compared to air tires; noticed a slight wiggle of the tires, which makes me wonder how much time it will hold such a heavy weight without breaking, but time will tell. Love the low profile or height, which makes it a lot easier to transport in tight spaces (see picture with bottle of beer as reference). It comes with a good quality gas regulator, hose, fittings, and plastic clip convenient to store the LPG hose assembly when not in use. Overall very satisfied because it is what I expected.

love the dual fuel
havent used it in summer runnijg AC yet. But, as for running furnace and charging batteries the long run time on a 20lbs propane is sweet. I wasnt sure about the push button start but now that I've used I dont think I'll ever be without it again. The unit is quiet but also was able to use it in eco mode the entire time. Also, like the size. Travels well in the bed of the truck with a 5thwheel hitch swinging around. #sweepstakes

Great so far
I bought this generator to supply power to my travel trailer when I boon dock and it is nice that it has a RV plug and duel fuel. It is pretty quiet and runs well on propane out of the box at high altitude. I am at 6300 feet and will be camping at higher altitudes throughout the year. I have run the generator through the break in period. I was pleased to find out that Champion Power Equipment improved the design and have put in an oil drain tube. Just release the tube by moving the clip and the oil easily drains out. After you are done, put the tube back and move the clip back into place. I changed the oil in less than 30 minutes and probably can do it in about 15 minutes excluding running the generator to heat up the oil. It moves on the wheels pretty easily and I can pick it up by myself. Not everyone will be able to do that though. The only things that I think that could improve it is having a flow controller available that I could hook up to the propane extension on my trailer. The other would be having the ability to switch from "normal" altitude to high altitude electronically or with a switch. Nothing that should stop someone from buying this unit.

Great product
I have been running this inverter for the break in period and it has surprised me with how easy this generator is to get up and running. It has a super smooth electric start and very quick and easy to setup and get going. Changing the oil and draining the carburetor is very easy to do with easy access to the drain plugs and tubes. I would definitely recommend to anyone. It's is very quiet and is not a pain to hang around while having a normal conversation. Great product. The only thing is I wish it was easier to get a hold of someone so I could order an extra carburetor assembly but I haven't tried too hard.

Champion 3400 Dual Fuel Most Recommended Generator
I did a ton of research and to finally purchase the Champion Dual Fuel 3400 for my RV Airstream needs. This fit the purpose for me. Runs like a champ. I intend to only use the LP feature until the need for Gas arises. It is a two per lift generator to and from my Ford F350 truck bed. The UPS man lifted it no problem in the box, all 90 pounds and brought it into my garage. But not me, I need help lifting it. Loud and heavy but does the job perfectly. Fired up first try with propane. 5 hour break in before first in oil change.

Bought this for my 28ft fifth wheel camper. Good packaging and shipping. Opened, installed battery then added oil and gas. Fires right up with the convenient electric start! I purchased this based on the good reputation of this company. Look forward to many years of use of a product from a great company!

Best Inverter Generator for you money!
I use the Champion Generator to power my fifth wheel RV while Boone docking (off the grid) The unit is super quiet. Has an electric starter and can run on propane also. What made me want this unit for starters was the fact that it can run it on propane, removing the hassle and mess of dealing with gasoline. At 20 to 25 feet away we can hardly hear it. It is super quiet. Also can run on economy, meaning it will run fast or slow depending on the power load demand! All of these features made my decision much easier to make. We love our unit and we really can't find nothing bad to say about it!
