Does this generator works with gas butano?

Asked by Mariapicon May 18, 2020
2
Answers

No, this machine cannot run on butane. Use unleaded gasoline with an ethanol content of 10% or less. This means you should avoid Flex Fuels or E85 gasoline as it contains higher amounts of ethanol. Most of us are stuck with only having access to this type of fuel. If you have non-ethanol fuel available near you, it can indeed help reduce fuel storage problems. Here is a site you can use to find stations near you that offer this: www.Pure-Gas.org

Will it run a refrigerator

Asked by SuzieR May 16, 2020

Answers

If you're refrigerator has circuit board (s) you'll need a surge protector According to the manual, surge protector NOT INCLUDED. However no UPS surge protector company, that I have found will honor Their Warranty because this generator has a "floating neutral" AND you have to add a grounding rod & wire. ALSO NOT INCLUDED. So in my opinion, unless you have a refrigerator from the 1960s or older the answer is NO

How long will generator run on a tank of propane?

Asked by ken April 7, 2020
3
Answers

Manual claims 20lb tank & 50% load 10.5hrs. . That's only tiny part of the answer 1st propane drops wattage to 3150 At sea level. Subtract 3.5% for each 1000 ft above sea level. . Also when no load at all, mine doesn't slow down, actually speeds up & goes from 61hz to 63.3hz. I'm assuming 10.5 hrs with 0 load. Not to mention, burnt out a new (9watt) LED light bulb as only load & 63.3 hz 129-120v

Is 3500 watts enough to power 3 refrigerators/freezers, ventilation fan and lighting for 2200 sq ft home?

Asked by Patrick March 20, 2020

Answers

3500 running watts is AT SEA LEVEL. Subtract 3.5% for ea 1000 ft above sea level. Ea appliance will have a sticker that indicates its wattage or Amps (Amps x volts 120= watts) My refrigerator is 6.5 amps so 6.5x120=780 watts IF I were at sea level AND USING GASOLINE Could run 4 of my refrigerators

Excellent Product #sweepstakes
Recieved my generator and followed the simple instructions for firing it up after adding the proper amount of oil. It ran solid. I tried both the propane and gas option and it did not have a single issue. I figured if you start with the propane since it's easier to start during cold weather then after the generator warms up switch it to the fuel for a very quick simple start it would work alot easier and it did very well!! #sweepstakes

Worked in the winter storm power outage
Bought this for hurricanes, not winter storms with no power. Started when it was 14 degrees F outside. Ran my space heater, lights and television for about 8 hours on one tank of propane. Used nearly continuously on propane for two days. Very pleased - exceeded my expectations.

Duel Fuel Generator
Just received the 3500 Watt duel fuel generator after being out of power from Eta a little over a week ago. The ability to run with propane instead of gasoline was the attraction for me. No need for fuel stabilizer or dealing with a gummed up carburetor as this generator probably won't be run again for another 10 or so months. It fired right up and powered a large chop saw with no issues. One thing that is important to note and you will only read about it in the manual (no label on the switch). The On/Off switch is only applicable when running in gasoline mode, not propane. So the step to stop the generator in propane fuel mode is to turn off the propane tank valve. This will purge the tank hose as well.

Good Generator
I wish the generator came with oil and with a wheel set. I had oil already but I needed the wheel set so I wouldn't have to wait for my son to help me put the generator outside when needed. This unit is fairly quiet as I could barely hear it from the street. Bought this a safety measure as with the possible electrical interruption due to the upcoming elections and the covid up tick in cases may create disruptions in service. Dual fuel is a good feature because the local LPG dealer told me I could always fill up tanks even if the power is down.

Generator for backup power during storm
I purchased this generator primarily for backup power during hurricane season. I was able to use it last week during Hurricane Sally. It did a great job running off both propane and gasoline. I used it to power a freezer, refrigerator, a couple window a/c units, and a few lights. It did everything that I needed it to do. I would definitely recommend this generator. It is really nice to have the option to run off propane in addition to gasoline since gasoline is sometimes hard to get hold of shortly before and after the storm.

Generator for hurricane Laura
Generator did not arrive on time, but that was ok because we dodged a bullet with hurricane Laura. Generator was packaged really good. Have not used generator yet, but so far it looks very heavy duty and the wheel kit will make it easier to move around.

Fantastic Generator for Outstanding Price
We went through a category 3 Derecho in Iowa on August 10th with around 140MPH straight winds. Power was knocked out for 75 square miles in the Cedar Rapids IA area including my home. I work for a tool supply store and this unit caught my eye so we brought in some to help our customers. What a fantastic response from everyone, especially the dual-fuel option and that it is RV ready. I purchased this unit and boy...WHAT A GREAT MACHINE! Easy set up right out of the box as stated in the features of the unit. It started on the first pull which is amazing! And it has enough power and outlets to run everything that I needed to run while the power was out. Plus it fits in my wheelbarrow so I can move it around easily. It has pretty clean power as we to run my sensitive electronics as well. I am VERY satisfied with my new Champion Power Equipment 100307 generator! Thanks CPE for making such a great unit!

Good value (capabilities/options) for the price
Pro's: duel fuel option. When there are lines at the gas stations can pickup propane and keep running. Good price vs competition for duel fuel option. Drawback: No electric start.

Best Generator On The Market
This generator is awesome! After researching what brand and what kind of generator I should buy. I brought this model and it didn't disappoint. It runs great and it's easy to learn how to use. It gives me all the power I need to make sure my family is safe during a power outage. I would recommend this anyone out there looking to buy a generator.
